Fishing Moosehead
The Moosehead Lake region encompasses 4,400 square miles of recreational wilderness. The vast, pristine waters of the lake provide an ideal habitat for a variety of fish. Landlocked salmon, lake trout, brook trout, bass, perch, and crappie are favorites for sport fishing. Opportunities for fishing are year-round in Maine. The fly fishing is best from April 1 to September 30.
