What To Bring
Now that you know what there is to do it is important to know what to bring. If you are planning to get out on the lake bring a swimsuit that can handle all water sports. Water shoes are also helpful from the water to the beach to white water rafting. Beach chairs and towels will be necessary when you are relaxing by the lake. In the summer a fan can come in handy to cool off from the sun. We do supply charcoal grills, but you will want to bring charcoal and lighter fluid. Pack your toiletries, kitchen supplies such as; spices, flour, dish soap, paper towels, etc.. If you are planning on fishing bring your fishing gear and sun protection. We do have a full-service fly shop as well as, on-site gas & oil for boats, snowmobiles, and ATVs. However, do not worry if you forget something because we are close to stores and our store here at Wilsons sells essential products and wood for the outdoor fire-pit.

Wilsons’ village of cottages in the North Woods of Maine is open year round. We are nestled in the woods right on Moosehead Lake and the Kennebec River. Our charming cottages range from 1-5 bedrooms with full bathrooms and fully equipped kitchens. All cottages have heat, electricity, hot and cold running water, and free wireless internet. All cottages have a screened porch with views of Moosehead Lake and surrounding mountains. You will have access to launching and docking facilities, beach, picnic areas, and fire pits.
